I need the halp of my babies
I will probably be transfering this blog over to Wordpress within the next couple of months (or sooner...and thanks Avi, for the idea). First off, if anybody knows about personalizing wordpress themes and is willing to talk to me like a three year old, give me a shout out. Second, if any of you have a free second or two, head on over to crystalanne.org and check out the new site. My new server is a "shared server" and I have no idea what the hell that means. Anyway they don't like the idea of me having streaming video stored with them. I think maybe I should say eff them, which I might do anyway, but in the meantime I am playing around with this video egg thing. I think it looks a hell of a lot better than YouTube. Does it load OK for you guys? How is the sound? Please give me some feedback. Is the videoegg screen big enough? I know you can enlarge it on your own, but I can jack with the code myself too and can make it bigger myself---is it OK sized as it is now? Talk to Mommy.

cool. do you find it to be generally an easier process than downloading and opening in your own media player? not that the whole process is GRUELING or anything

Hi Crys,
I like the Wordpress site. I was trepidatious as soon as you said you were moving, but in general I am lazy about opening a separate player...and because of this I often get backlogged on your vids. (Sorry!) Well, it's not that I'm entirely lazy, but I often read blogs at work...and my jacked up computer won't let me open up separate players. (I know! How rude!)
Anyways...all of that to say that the videos in videoegg look good...and imho you should keep it up!
P.s. I love "It's raining Men" as sung by Gerri Halliwell. LOVE IT.

aw, this is good to hear, Leah. actually the whole process is a lot easier. the uploads are easier to v/egg and the WP client through the new server is a breeze. it seems like a good gig. now i just have to figure out the widgets and what not. and yes! rude! you need to be back more often. HOW YOU BEEN GYURL.
